💯True story…. I realize I suck at something I’ve been attempting to do for years….
I’m good at certain elements of it, but overall, I’ve come to the realization that this one thing just isn’t in my wheelhouse 🤷🏽♀️…
Wanna know what I suck at….
I suck at being a CEO‼️….
Let me explain…
👉🏽 There are 2 distinct differences between building a business and running a business….
✅ Option A: One of them, you are at the top calling the shots, focused on the foundational and fundamental things that will keep the business going and growing…
✅ Option B: You are focused on the activities that will generate the income…
👉🏽 Me, I’m all the way Option B!!
I realize I love focusing on the activities that will generate the income! 💯
Don’t get me wrong, I know what it takes to run a business BUT I’ve just come to realize that I’m growing a love/hate relationship with the CEO role….
What most people don’t realize is that it takes 7-8 core areas to run a successful business….
❌ Marketing / Promotion
❌ Customer Support
❌ Staffing // HR
And I may be missing a few more…
But each of these areas require more support to help keep things going‼️….
In the end, as an individual working to get things off the ground, running 🏃♀️all these departments while making sure you keep money 💰 coming through the door is just flat out overwhelming‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️….
I’ve lived so many years of my life trying to do it all, and guess what…. I’ve failed miserably 🤦🏽♀️!!
👉🏽 I realize that so many of us get trapped in the CEO rat race to sometimes look important, feel important or make ourselves feel like we have to make it work or else we will be shamed by those #BOSSBABES who can tend to make others that don’t want to be CEOs feel small….
And then you have those that are naturally good at it and they do it extremely well….
I’ve discovered that I’m good to partner with the CEO but honestly I no longer desire to be her…..
And at this point, I could care less what other people think 🤷🏽♀️ but I’ve come to accept that I love focusing on the 1-2 things I do well (👉🏽Training & Sales 👈🏽) and I’ve decided to strip myself from the CEO role‼️….
🙌🏽 I’m trashing all the titles…
🙌🏽 Releasing myself from the unrealistic expectations….
Closing the doors 🚪 on the things that no longer serve me….
❌ And stripping myself from the things that have been such a burden to my life and my gifting….
✅ INstead… I’m choosing to be an “Intrapreneur”….
👉🏽 I’m choosing to leverage what others have done well…
👉🏽 I’m choosing to simply plug in and profit to what’s already set up, working and easy for me to glide into my strengths…
🧘🏽♀️ I’m positioning myself for grace and ease instead of bootstrapping and struggling….
👸🏽I’m choosing to align myself to what works for me and what feels good for me (despite the social media bullies and shammers)….
I’m trashing my CEO hat 🧢 and I’m putting on my #ImpactNation shirt 👚and tennis shoes 👟 as I get ready to run this race as a steward, where I’m committed to building a business that impacts others….
I’m so relieved‼️
I can finally stop hiding behind a computer 👩🏽💻 in the search for the entrepreneur pot of gold, and finally get back out in the field to do what I do….
💥💥 And that is… helping people transform their lives by leveraging existing businesses to build wealth and freedom for themselves and their families!! 💥💥
